The gallery floor is covered with fine sand. The exhibition space is designated by the sand and a suspended translucent fabric corridor. The patron is invited to remove his / her shoes to view and touch the work . The first object encountered is a cast glass vessel filled with a coloured fragrant liquid. 18 curved glass panels are suspended at waist hight by the thinest of steel cables, each panel is a photographic image of feet at various states of exposure. A water filled rubber "creature" protruding from the sand, the "viewer" is encouraged to touch and even step on it, inducing ripples and squeeks. All the feet were photographed in their owners preffered environment. A large centerpiece panel is located at the fabric wall intersection, in this area the faint intermitent crying of a grown man can be heard. Thank you for visiting, you can put your shoes back on now.
